My latest obsession- 15 minute- Air Fryer Fish Taco with Cilantro Lime Slaw- You can use the seasoning on any protein you choose!



I’ve been making these air fryer fish tacos on repeat—they’re quick, flavorful, and super versatile. The seasoning is so good, I’ve been using it on chicken, steak, and even tofu. Sometimes I skip the tortilla and serve the fish over a big salad—no dressing needed thanks to the bold flavor.

The cilantro lime slaw is the perfect topping—fresh, crunchy, and made with Chosen Foods Avocado mayo. It pairs well with just about anything. You have to try this one—it’s a family favorite!


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds of white fish- mahi mahi, cod etc.

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne- more or less for spiciness

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper


For the Cilantro Lime Slaw

  • 2 1/2 cups shredded coleslaw

  • 3 T avocado mayo- (Chosen Food Brand)

  • 1 T lime juice

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/4 tsp fresh pepper


Direction

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with oil. Mix the spices, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Pat the fish dry and place it in the basket. Brush with olive oil, then coat with the spice mix and press it in gently. Spray a little more oil on top to help it stick.

  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Cook the fish for 8–10 minutes, or until it flakes easily and reaches 145°F.

  4. While the fish cooks, mix the cilantro lime slaw. Adjust salt or lime juice to taste.

  5. Once the fish is done, cut it into pieces, add to tortillas, and top with slaw. Squeeze fresh lime over the top.

  6. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2–3 days.

  7. To reheat, air fry the fish for 2–4 minutes until hot.
